Who Are They?

NHS Property Services is a limited company owned by the Department of Health that took over the ownership of around 3,500 NHS facilities in April 2013.

The Project (Jul 2020 – Sep 2020)

Although NHSPS have been using Dynamics 365 for a while (badged as “Compass” within the organisation), they had to move to Microsoft’s new Unified Interface by December 2020.

This project was therefore to update and improve existing training materials to reflect the interface change and to train users remotely on the key differences in the new layout of the application.

Approach

The first task was to create a PowerPoint Simulator that I could deliver to a group of existing users remotely showing the top 10 things that were different about the Unified Interface (UI).

To help users after the training sessions, I also produced a video demo to help them remember the new interface changes…

Since the UI affects a lot of the main functions of the CRM, I carried out an audit of the existing Dynamics 365 materials so that we could determine which content would need to be replaced.
